Voicemail

 i. Description

Be sure not to miss any important call when your mobile handset is busy, turned off, or out of coverage or, when you’re just unable to answer the call at the moment.
NOVAFONE Voicemail service serves as an automatic private answering machine that answers your calls and allows callers to leave a recorded voice message for you or your own voice mailbox. With the Voicemail service you can retrieve your messages whenever you want, at your convenience.

Message Information Status

· When message information is enabled you will automatically hear the time and date of each received message prior to playback of the message.

· To enable or disable Message Information option, go to personal menu then administration menu and follow the voice prompts.

Rapid Retrieval Option

· When rapid retrieval is enabled, all new messages will be played back consecutively upon entering your mailbox. After hearing your messages you will be allowed to save or delete them.

· To enable or disable Rapid Retrieval option, go to personal menu then administration menu and follow the voice prompts.

Setting a Voice Mail Inbox Password

· You should access the Voice Mail the first time through your own mobile handset by dialing 333. The first time you access your Voicemail inbox, you will be prompted to define your 4-digit password.

· To change your password, dial 333 and then go to the personal settings then password menu and follow the voice prompts.

Setting a Greeting

· You can choose to use the system greeting or to record your own greeting message for your voicemail so callers know they have reached you but you are unavailable. The system recording will be used if you didn’t choose to record your own.

· To set a greeting, dial 333 and go to the personal settings then to the greeting menu and follow the voice prompts.

Allowed and Blocked Numbers Lists

· You can create a list of numbers and choose to allow or prevent them from sending you voicemail messages.

· To create and manage these lists, dial 333 and go to the personal menu then allowed and blocked numbers lists and follow the voice prompts.

Message Retrieval

a. Checking your Voice mail box from your number:

· Dial the code 333

· Press 1 and follow the voice prompts.

· You can retrieve, replay, save, or delete your messages.

b. Checking your Voice mail box from another number:

· Dial the code 333 or 0555611333

· Press 2

· Enter the phone number of the voicemail inbox you want to check.

· Enter the password for that inbox.

c. Checking your Voice mail box abroad:

· A roaming subscriber can access his voice mailbox from anywhere by dialing the international number 00231555611333 and entering his password.

· Standard roaming rates apply.

  ii. Target Customers

This service is for prepaid and postpaid customers.

  iii. Restrictions and Limitation

· You can’t send messages to international destinations.

· Maximum recording time: 60 seconds

  iv. Activation

  There is no subscription process.

  The service is active for all subscribers.

  All calls will be automatically directed to voicemail inbox after the 6th ring if the call was not answered.

  Through handset setting, user can manage the service functionality:

  He can specify when he wants to divert his calls to the voicemail inbox.

iPhone Handset Settings:

  Go to Menu/ Setting/phone/call forwarding

  Switch Call Forwarding ‘ON’

  Enter the number: 0555600333

Nokia Handset Settings:

  Go to Menu/ Settings/ Call Setting/ Call divert or call forwarding/ choose on option of the below:

  All voice calls

  If busy

  If not answered

  If out of reach (no coverage)

  If not available ( switched OFF or barring incoming calls)

  No call forwarding

  Choose Activate

  Choose to other number

  Enter the number: 0555600333 & press OK

  Choose ring number /divert time

itel Handset Settings:

  1. Go to menu/Call Center/Call Settings/Call Divert/Select SIM in case of dual SIM phone/ choose on option of the below:

  All voice calls

  If busy

  If not answered

  If out of reach (no coverage)

  If not available ( switched OFF or barring incoming calls)

  No call forwarding

  1. Choose Activate
  2. Choose to other number
  3. Enter the number: 0555600333 & press OK
  4. Choose ring number / divert time

 Handset Setting

  If you choose ‘all voice calls’, your calls will be diverted to voicemail inbox when your phone is busy, unreachable, unavailable or not answered call.

  If you choose ‘If busy’, calls received when your line is busy will be forwarded to voicemail inbox.

  If you choose ‘If not answered’, not answered calls will be forwarded to voicemail inbox.

  If you choose ‘If out of reach’, calls received when your line is out of reach will be forwarded to voicemail inbox.

  If you choose ‘If not available’, calls received when your line is not available will be forwarded to voicemail inbox.

v. Subscription Fee

The service is free of charge.

vi. Extra Fees

  Voicemail Service is free of charge.

  User will be charged for leaving a voice message according to the standard on-net voice rate.

  Charging starts right after the beep.
